After earning her Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education from Pittsburg State University in 1993, she began her career in public education before transitioning into the world of technology education. For 15 years, Cheryl worked with educators, students, and sales professionals, supporting third-party software platforms like AutoCAD, SolidWorks, and Mastercam. Her ability to adapt and thrive in diverse environments laid the groundwork for her success in financial services.

In 2014, Cheryl joined Darrel Markley’s firm as a Client Service Manager, bringing her strong communication skills and service-first mindset to the financial world. When Darrel transitioned to LPL Financial in 2017 to offer clients a broader range of investment opportunities, Cheryl continued her role, helping clients feel supported and informed every step of the way. Her years of experience across education, technology, and finance give her a unique perspective and a well-rounded skill set that enhances every client interaction.

Cheryl is a proud lifelong Kansan, where she raised her four boys and now enjoys the joy of being a grandmother to five beautiful and brilliant grandchildren. Her family is her greatest pride, and she cherishes every moment spent with them. Outside of work, Cheryl enjoys gardening, spending time with loved ones, and embracing the simple joys of life in the Midwest.
