He is responsible for overseeing all marketing initiatives across the organization, ensuring that every campaign, event, and communication reflects the firm’s values and vision. From developing impactful content to enhancing brand visibility and coordinating cross-functional efforts, Luis plays a central role in shaping how Pence connects with its audience. What Makes Me Knowledgeable
Luis brings a wealth of experience to his role, having worked in the financial services industry for over a decade. Prior to joining Pence, he served as an Advisor Experience Consultant for Financial Professionals Group, where he led marketing efforts designed to support financial advisors and elevate client experiences. He also held key roles at Edward Jones as a Senior Branch Office Administrator and spent four years at American Funds, gaining valuable insight into both the operational and strategic sides of financial marketing.
Luis studied at Fullerton College, where he built the academic foundation for his career in communications and marketing. His hands-on experience across multiple respected financial institutions has equipped him with a unique blend of creativity, technical skill, and industry knowledge. He understands the nuances of financial marketing and is passionate about helping advisors connect with clients in meaningful, authentic ways.

Luis grew up in Long Beach and now resides in Orange County with his wife, Aubrey, and daughter, Abbey. Outside of work, he’s an adventurer at heart—an avid long-distance runner and motorcycle enthusiast who enjoys exploring new places and creating lasting memories with his family. Whether he’s navigating scenic trails or planning his next ride, Luis brings energy, curiosity, and a love for life to everything he does.
